Wouldn’t it be great, if at birth, you were given a manual that told of your essence, your blueprint or type … that told of your preferences and tendencies, mental, physical and emotional?
That told of foods that supported your system and foods that did not. That told of your learning style, your emotional style and how you interact with others.
How much pain and suffering, time and effort would that save!
Dosha Woman, is about helping you find how You are unique, to find your blueprint, your essence or type, or as we call it here, your Dosha.
Once you know this information, you can move through your life, trusting your own inner authority to make powerful and right decisions. You can create and connect in the physical realm, know yourself and experience the feeling sensations of the body, reconnecting to the rhythm of the natural world that lies within you, deepening your sensitivity and awareness to all things.
Now, here you are, after much trial and error, the person you see before you in the mirror… a woman at midlife, feeling flat and fed up … moving to or though menopause and maybe suffering weight gain, fatigue and sleeplessness.
Would you love to feel youthful, lean, lively and sexy again?
Then you must restore your natural set-point by balancing your Doshas.
There is no other option because all of these midlife issues – weight gain, emotional turmoil, fatigue, sleeplessness, are due to aggravating your unique natural state of being. Only when you are aware of your unique body type and how it functions at its best, can you return to your optimal set-point that enables a youthful, lean, lively and sexy you to re emerge.
So first, stop allowing others to sway your opinions and influence your choices when it comes to you.
Start becoming aware of your body’s reactions to your thoughts and external stimuli and trust it … trust that it tells you what is good and what is not.
I want you to understand yourself so fully, all aspects of your self, that you can make decisions and choose what is best for you without referring to the good (but often misguided) opinions of others.
That means examining the foods you choose to buy and eat, the way you exercise, the way you live your life at work and in your free time and how you think, especially how you think, about what is true for you and what you think is true for YOU.
I want you to examine everything you say YES to, because every choice you make, even when you are saying NO, is actually a yes to something else and your yes-es should be really good ones.
